The Earl of Manchester’s Regiment of Foote is preparing to cry ‘For England, Harry and St George!’ this weekend in the place dubbed ‘the most patriotic town in England’.

The Regiment is once again taking part in the annual Morley St George’s Day celebrations this Sunday (18th April), ahead of St George’s Day on the 23rd.

Along with local groups and charities we will be marching through the town, drums beating and flag flying, at around noon before heading back to Morley Rugby Club on Scatcherd Lane, Morley.

Come and see our living history encampment from 10am and then watch our arena show at 3pm as the 17th century residents of Morley take offence at some unwelcome military visitors – with deadly consequences!
