The highlight event of the year over the August Bank Holiday, commemorating the first major battle of the English Civil War in 1642.
The Battle of Edgehill will be brought to life with a major battle of musket, pike, canon and cavalry. Hosted by Oliver Cromwell’s Brigade of the Sealed Knot’s Armie of Parliament,
Edgehill was to have been the moment that the simmering conflict between King Charles and his Parliament was to have been decided.
