BBC Radio 7 is currently running a 15-part drama set during the English Civil War called God’s Revolution.
Featuring Graham Blockey from The Archers, it’s currently up to episode four and each of the one hour episodes are available on the BBC’s iPlayer — though there’s only a few days left to catch the first one! Picking up the story in 1647, the drama begins with unrest mounting as the Presbyterian government decides to disband the army.
