The Earl of Manchester’s Regiment of Foote proudly invites you to step back to the English Civil War for a special weekend of history, education, and excitement!
Enter our authentic 17th Century encampment on the Big Meadow and meet the soldiers and civilians living through this tumultuous period of history – discover traditional trades and watch demonstrations of pike and musket, with guided tours and performances twice daily.
Watch the fiendish attempt to blow up Bidford Bridge at 11.30am and then, at 2pm, witness battle as Cavalier and Roundhead fight it out for control of the crossing over the river!
The encampment opens at 10am each day, with last entry at 4pm.
Prebook a family ticket for just £12 (2 adults & up to 3 children) or £7.50 per adult on the day with children free (when each accompanied by paying adult).
