The Earl of Manchester’s Regiment of Foote is very proud to announce its forthcoming event at Temple Newsam, the stunning country house and estate near Leeds.
This two-day event is the first of its kind to ever be held at this amazing Tudor-Jacobean house, often called ‘The Hampton Court Palace of the north’.
Each day will begin at 10am when our authentic encampment opens – come and meet the soldiers who fought and the families they left behind.
See displays of musket, pike and drums throughout the day in the fantastic amphitheatre.
Kids can enjoy the FREE activities while parents get to appreciate this captivating venue.
Walk around the house and meet the people of the 17th Century brought to life in this fantastic country house, before watching a live battle re-enactment with sword and musket on the East Lawn.
