Head back to the English Civil War this May Bank Holiday, as the stunning setting of Deene Park in Northamptonshire plays host to the Sealed Knot.
This event is being organised and hosted by Waller’s Brigade of the Army of Parliament.
Five miles from Corby, Deene Park is a Grade I listed building and is the ancestral home of the Brudenell family. Sir Thomas (1578-1663) was created Baron Brudenell in 1628 (a title he bought for £6,000) and became Earl Cardigan in 1661 because of his support of the Royalist cause during the English Civil War.
The Earl of Manchester’s is looking forward to joining our friends in Waller’s Brigade and the Sealed Knot for what promises to be a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend event!
