Just a day to go till the courtyard outside the Royal Armouries in Leeds is transformed into an encampment full of gambling Roundheads, oppressed civilians, cooking goodwives and slovenly officers…
The Royal Armouries website has all the details, plus directions and museum information. Our displays will take place between 10am and 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday with:
- 17th-century military camp on Royal Armouries square
- Pike drills
- Musket drills
- Children’s pike drills
- Cannon firing displays
And for those of you with kids, don’t forget the fantastic museum will be open as usual throughout the day, with:
