The English Civil War comes to Whittington Castle this September!
Muskets will fire, drums will sound, swords and pikes will clash as the 1640s comes to vivid life!
The Earl of Manchester’s Regiment of Foote, part of the Sealed Knot reenactment society, will be revealing what life was like in the time of Roundheads and Cavaliers with demonstrations, traditional crafts, activities for the whole family, and – of course – an epic skirmish in the grounds of this amazing castle!
Follow the event on Facebook for more information as we head towards a fantastic weekend of history, action, and fun!
Sealed Knot members: please note that this is a Manchester’s-only regimental event.
